Clay Arts Utah is proud to sponsor SLC artist Shasta Krueger for our 2026 Masterclass! Shasta’s work explores pattern and form through an active studio practice including firing atmospheric kilns and co-owning and operating Cottonwood Clay. In this workshop we will learn how patterns create form and how repetition creates patterns in pinched vessels made for everyday use or as multiples for installation. The schedule will include a mixture of observation and hands-on participation under Shasta’s guidance. We hope you will join us for this incredible opportunity to learn from a skilled maker while deepening your relationships with Utah’s clay community. Bring your tools, apron, and a box to carry your work home.
