This presentation is free will via Zoom to Arizona Clay Association, and Clay Arts Utah members as the second part of our exchange. Find the Zoom link in your July 10th email (a link will also be sent to members the morning of July 20th), or email info@clayartsutah.com
In 2001, 2002, and 2004 Jason Bohnert spent extensive time traveling and living in private studios in Jingdezhen and Yixing, China learning traditional pottery making techniques. The pottery and tea culture, architecture, cuisine, and friendships proved lifelong learning experiences that continue to influence his work. Having established a home base in Flagstaff since 2008, Jason has taught full and part-time at Northern Arizona University since 2010 and now works from his home studio and tiny gallery.
